I hate the way women are continuously devalued, first by men, then by men who want to be women, and now by stupid women who are anxious to help in the erasure of women. The ACLU also recently cut the words women/her out of an RBG quote about abortion rights and replaced it with "people/their". Meanwhile they had an article discussing prostate cancer and the word men was perfectly fine and not replaced with a disgusting term. Lancet a respected medical journal recently used the term "bodies with vaginas" instead of women. The truth is most people don't agree with the clown show the trans movement has turned into. It erases the historical context of why and how women have been treated differently from men for millenia. Sick of seeing "pregnant people" when this biological difference has been thr basis for the entire patriarchy. So you pick 3 people out of thousands who've made it. And let’s not forget Oprah, Queen of the World.Īgain: power/money trump race. If you don’t think Beyoncé wields power, you are crazy. You don’t get that white women have more power than every other race of women? No one cares what black and Latina celebs do bc they don’t hold the power. I wish he would have drilled down on the real issue: power. The reality is black and Latina women celebs did the exact same thing. He’s spot on about the white suffragettes screwing up by pushing out black women, but he was wrong to fixate on white women in Hollywood not risking giving up power during me, too. I think he missed the boat by singling in on white women though. I don't understand how being a woman suddenly became a terrible thing even as MeToo was unfolding.Īnd then he goes on to illustrate how white women missed the boat with the me, too movement. Yes, we don't have to obliterate the concept of being a woman to welcome trans women or make space for nonbinary people.

I’d never heard Team TERF before, but if it means that we can stop saying pregnant people because it’s too offensive to say pregnant women, then I’m all in…and he’s not wrong.

That’s also why he said he’s stepping away from lgbtqia+material. I’m not fragile and I think his team terf bit is messed up, but I see his growth too. He’s worlds closer than the last special. Anonymous wrote:He needs to get right on the binary thing, but he also knows that.
